Something to rejoice over in 2004 is the fact that a lot of the provisions of the so called “Brady Bill” are set to expire in 2004. Hopefully a Republican congress will demonstrate enough courage to not extend these provisions. The most annoying part to me personally, is the ban on “Large capacity ammunition feeding devices.” When I grew up we would go outside on our farm and target practice with our Ruger 10/22. It’s a 22 and has probably rarely been used in a violent crime by a law abiding citizen. One of the greatest things with target practice is having a good 30 round magazine. This means you don’t have to reload continually. When the Brady Bill or one of its parts was passed Clinton outlawed all magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. The whole concept is stupid. What hardened criminal is using a 10/22 with a 30 round clip to kill people? While criminals use Assault Weapons that they get illegally, law abiding citizens like myself are prohibited from certain weapons because the left doesn’t like them.

It seems clear to me that the left doesn’t want law abiding conservatives to have any rights. It is also most clear that they do not want any Christians around. I’m sure the British would have been overjoyed in 1776 if the colonists did not have any guns. Please support the NRA and President Bush who is more likely to make the right decision about guns and other items that will allow us to stop our country’s massive move to the left.
