I’ve been reading some interesting articles on President Bush and current federal spending. The philosophy being promoted by some is to cut taxes in such a way that will force the government to eventually cut spending and become smaller. The idea is to starve the beast. I’m not sure what I think about it all at the moment but the idea is definitely interesting. There is also Starve the Beast: Join the Global Tax Revolt at Amazon but it is out of print.
